Sunday morning is the center of our life together. All of our programs get their heartbeat from our Sunday worship of the Creator, whom we call the fount of every blessing, the source of all that is good and beautiful, the focus of our gratitude and the inspiration for our service in the world.

The term 'liturgy' refers to the combination of words, music, and movement in a worship service. At Saint Mary's our entire liturgy is printed in each Sunday's bulletin. The music for the 10 am service is chosen with the scripture readings as well as the seasons in mind. All are encouraged to sing, and those who play an instrument are invited to share their gifts as well.

The scriptures we read are the same ones Episcopalians and other Christians all over the country read on a given Sunday. The prayers come from a variety of sources, most especially the 1979 Book of Common Prayer, but we write a fair number particularly for this community. Every Sunday at Saint Mary's we recommit ourselves to the Christian life in our Baptismal Covenant. We also take some time at the end of each service to seek God's blessing on the beginnings and endings, sorrows and celebrations in our lives.

Both the 8 am and the 10 am services include a Eucharist (sometimes referred to as 'communion' or 'mass'). We consider it God's table and not ours, and everyone will be welcome to receive the holy and life-giving bread and wine of Jesus Christ.

Come, bring your friends and join us as we lift our voices in thanksgiving, and commit ourselves to walk in Jesus' healing and compassionate ways.
