Millenium Development Goals and Kids
We strive to involve kids MDG in events as much as possible, whether as part
of the larger community or on their own. Sunday school teachers
are encouraged to include MDG content as part of their curriculum. Two
events held during the year which particularly involve kids are the
annual planting held on April 19 where the entire youth community
plants seeds as part of our environmental awareness month. The children
will also put on a special show after church on Earth Day. On November
12th, the youth group will make an outreach trip to Feed My Starving
Children to help create food kits to be sent around the world in order
to combat hunger, which is one of the overarching aims of the MDGs.

to bring in new or slightly used shoes for the "Soles 4 Souls" project
the Diocese of Minnesota is participating in.
