Newcomer Parties
Four or 
five
times a year someone will host a Newcomer Party in their home.
It's a chance for those considering becoming a member of St.
Mary's can get together with others, some of whom have recently joined,
some of whom have been around a long time.
As usual, we eat.
We eat really well around here. Some time near the middle
of our time together we spend a little time telling our stories of how
we found our way to St Mary's, and why we stay. Those who wish
to get the official 'stand up in church' welcome get a chance to go
over the liturgy for the next day. Questions are answered,
stories told, laugher is heard. Good stuff.
