Lessons and Carols December 20
This is a glorious event that really gets you ready for Christmas! Put on your favorite velvet (if you like, you don't have to dress up if you don't want to, but if you are looking for an occasion to break out the fancy stuff, this is it!), walk through the candlelit path in the snow and come to church!

The sanctuary is all decorated
with Advent evergreens and purple bows. The aisle candleabra are
up, candles are lit, and we settle in for a lovely service. There
are nine lessons from scripture read, each having to do with the coming
of Christ. Interspersed between the readings you will hear
beautiful selections from our adult choir, children's choirs, parish
musicians, and we'll even sing a hymn or two. Bjorn works very
hard with all this talent to provide a classy, high quality
musical experience - we are so very lucky to have him here!
After the service, fill your plate with warm
fancy food - usually pork, with minted peas and mulled wines, and a variety of fancy desserts.
Want to come early and hang out with some fun people? We'll put
you to work setting tables or chopping apples for mountains of Waldorf
salad.
The date for this year's grand event is Sunday evening
December 20th.
Plan on coming, and bring your friends and family!
