Church Service
We welcome and encourage teenagers in the leadership of the congregation, especially in Sunday morning worship. There are lots of ways to use your gifts!
Acolytes
Acolytes light the candles, carry the processional cross, and assist at the altar.
Greeters and Ushers
These are the friendly faces you meet when you walk in our doors, They set up the children's cli9pboards, pass out bulletins, count the congregation, bring the bread and wine to the altar, pass the offering plates, help people to the altar for Eucharist, and tidy up when the service is over as well as assisting visitors after the service.
Chalice Bearers
The weekly chalice bearers assist in Eucharist, offering the cup to those who come to the altar to receive it, as well as occasionally bringin it to those who cannot come to the altar themselves.
Readers
Readers, well, they read! They read one of the bible lessons in church, or lead the Baptismal Covenant and the Prayers of the People.
Sound Technicians
These are the people who make sure our microphones are working so we can hear the servie, and podcast our sermons.
