Youth Ministry Adult Team
We have some seriously outstanding young adults working with our teenagers here at St. Mary's. They are fun, kind, and experienced youth ministers who have committed a large portion of their week to being in relastionship with teenagers.
This is Joe Juvland, and he has been working with St Mary's
teenagers for 8 years. In addition to doing weekly youth group,
and leading the annual ski trip, he engages young people in the
podcasting and sound equipment for our Sunday services. He is
also the father of 3 young boys.
The woman on the right is Sarah Ann Weaver, and she serves on the vestry, (elected leadership of the congregation), with her area of ministry being Christian Formation. In addition to weekly youth group, and Youth Blasts, Sarah Ann oversees all of the Sunday Schools and Adult Education here at St Mary's. She's the mother of two young girls.
This woman on the left is Laura-Lee Farrell, and she has been assisting weekly youth group, as well as monthly Youth Blasts, for two years now. She just got engaged!
This one on the right is MiaLisa McFarland. She is in her second year working on the St Mary's staff as a 1/2 time Children's and Youth Minister. She got engaged too! (wedding bells are ringing everywhere!)
The
Rev. LeeAnne Watkins participates in the youth ministry team by
supporting the adult and youth leadership. She occasionally
visits youth group, sometimes teaching, sometimes just hanging out.
She attends the annual ski trip. Plus, along with Laura-Lee
and Sarah Ann, she leads the Youth Blasts. (Youth Blasts are the
teenage Sunday School, held on Sunday afternoons most every month).
She's the mother of a young teen.
